Risk sharing partnering

We conduct clinical development up through Phase IIa, sharing the development cost with licensor (drug-discovery bio-venture company) and supports partnering between licensor and pharmaceutical company thereafter. The profits obtained will be shared with licensor in proportion to the level of contribution each has made in the process of development and partnering activities. We provide risk-sharing partnering framework, for pharmaceutical companies as partners.

Adding values to compounds

We add non-clinical and clinical data to drug candidates licensed from drug discovery bio-venture companies, raise their values, and promote partnering between drug discovery bio-venture companies and pharmaceutical companies in Japan. Our basic strategy is to conduct clinical studies on in-licensed compounds up to Proof of Concept stage by ourselves, and then license them out to pharmaceutical companies in Japan.

Co-development; a cloent retains the exclusive right to market the product

We take a leading role in conducting clinical development of drug candidates with a pharmaceutical company sharing development cost, and obtain milestone in response to the progress. After obtaining marketing approval, the client obtains the right to market the product exclusively. This model should attract a company which wants to market after the approval, but reduce the resource of clinical development.
